Rescue a Wool Jumper

from £6.00

Introducing the JUMPER RESCUE PROJECT in collaboration with the charity, FARA.

FARA runs 39 vibrant charity shops across London and I am delighted to be collaborating with them on rehoming these wool and cashmere garments. These garments were donated to FARA’s London charity shops and set aside because of light damage. Instead of going to rag, they’ve been rescued and cleaned, and are ready to be mended and have a second life.

The garments have some light damage (between 1 - 10 small holes) which you can learn how to discreetly and ‘invisibly’ mend for yourself during my live online invisible mending workshop on Saturday 28 November.

Choose your garment based on the size, style and how ambitious you want to be.

Choose your level:

  • Easy Rescue: Accessible for beginners – Chunkier knits, around 2-3 holes

  • Medium Rescue: Accessible though a stretch for beginners – Medium-weight knits, around 4-6 holes

  • Challenge Rescue: For those who fancy taking on a challenge – Finer knits, around 6-12 holes

Please make sure you order your jumper by Friday 21 November in order to receive it in time for the mending workshop on 28 November (appllies to UK deliveries only).

Part of every sale of these jumpers supports FARA and their charitable work transforming the lives of disadvantaged and vulnerable children and young people living in Romania.
